The OEX Vacation Expeditions offer travelers the opportunity to visit these places, in their own self-drive specially outfitted vehicle. The destinations are selected because we believe they are best explored the OEX way. Many of the places we go are rarely visited by outsiders because of their isolated locations.

The OEX Vacation Expeditions are adventures in education. Guests learn about natural and human history from field experts. Days are spent exploring, and nights are spent in a wide assortment of first class facilities, from luxury safari lodges in Africa to small inns in rural Iceland. Where facilities are not feasible, the company arranges for tent platform stays.
OEX Vacation Expedition destinations include Iceland, Namibia, Egypt, Labrador, Mongolia and Moab. In each case, OEX guides offer driving instruction, and local knowledge of some of the world’s great unsung travel routes.
