Following Bruce´s article in this summers Overland Journal, Bruce will take a group of 40 individuals through the ins and outs of the Hi-Lift jack. Bruce will lead you through all facets of the jack´s use. Commonly accepted operational techniques will be dispelled and put to rest.
This is a must have bit of equipment that everyone in this field needs to know how to use correctly. Used incorrectly and it can be very dangerous and limited. By day´s end you will finally have the correct mode of operation for this very versatile and flexible must have tool.
Registration is required and limited to 40 first come first serve. Cost $105. Hi-lift will have jacks and all accessories on hand and up for raffle. Details Register

Superwinch and OEX team up at the OEX grounds in CT to offer an all day winching seminar. Bruce Elfstrom will take you through the true science and art of winching. Bruce´s experience in the field in unparalleled and Superwinch´s endorsement of his skill and their close relationship will be self explanatory.

Superwinch will have all types of equipment on sale and in use as demos. Please join us for this 1st of OEX´s quarterly Winching events.

Sat, September 13, 2008  Iceland and the saga of the falling exchange rate.
Iceland´s Kronor is finally at a "doable" level. We have asked Bruce to ad this trip to take advantage of the exchange rate gift. We will be running this trip during the best season (IOHOs) in Iceland. Few tourists, highland roads firm and open to driving, glaciers ideal, norther nights really ramping up, and the hotel rates are lowered off high-season. We expect this trip to cost less than in the past and we hope to finalize the people list and lock the cost in at less than $3800, double occupancy.. This is $2000 less than last April´s trip. Contact us with any questions. The max group size will be 10 individual.
